With Ozforce you will have the best chance of adapting to the Australian way    of  life, finding a job, exploring this amazing country and getting a sun tan.

       We will have you trained up and settled into your first job before you can say g'day!

Ozforce offers two different packages: Basic and Comprehensive.

*Tax Refund advice is available at an additional cost (approximately £50)

Your Options:

Throughout your time in Sydney it is possible to mix and match your work in retail, professional offices, vineyards etc. When it comes to finding temporary work in Sydney, flexibility is key; the more flexible you are with regards to the roles you are willing to do, the quicker we can get you in employment. Ultimately, it is up to you to win over the employer with your skills and enthusiasm to secure a job, however we will be there every step of the way to help and support you.

Even if you have never worked before, it's still possible to find a good job in a professional setting such as sales and marketing, that require little more than an eagerness to work! Sales and marketing roles are a great option for those with no prior work experience; the jobs are plentiful and the work does not require any specific skills. We can also help you find work in vibrant bars, in the great outdoors and can even help you find jobs tailored to your specific interests.

Introduction Week Timetable:

What makes Ozforce different is that by having a program coordinator based in Sydney, we can not only help you find a job but also show you around and introduce you to the Sydney way of life.

Sunday: Arrival: Alex will collect you from the airport, making sure you have all of your bags and then transfer you into the city. It's important that you are centrally based as this makes it easy to walk to many of the work locations. We make sure you are settled in, and your evening meal in the hostel is included.

Monday: Breakfast (included). Welcome & orientation briefing by your Ozforce Coordinator. Time to explore Sydney. We take you to open your Aussy bank account, this is where your pay is credited to. We then take you to sort all your paperwork including tax number and we also register you with Medicare - so you have medical cover while here. As you're shown around the city today, you will get the chance to get your bearings with your new home, where to go, what sites to see, sort out your sim card. Alex can also give you great money saving tips and ideas..

Tuesday: Breakfast (included). Time to find a job! We get you registered with one of Australia's leading recruitment agencies which will give you access to loads of local and national jobs. You will receive one-on-one help with CV and interview techniques as well as attending a 'Finding Work' seminar where you'll get heaps of great advice about working in Australia.

Wednesday: Breakfast (included). Training Day. It's important that you know how to act and behave at work. So whatever job you choose we feel our training day is vital part in our job preparation program. Completing the course (fees included in the comprehensive package) will give you the Responsible Service of Alcohol course details and certificate. It is also required by most employers for bar work. Plus this course is another great way to meet fellow travellers. For those of you on the basic package you can continue with your job search at the office where you'll also receive free internet to apply for jobs etc.

Thursday: Breakfast (included). Today is typically the day that you are off on your own on the interviews. You are now much better prepared than when you arrived. You are now beginning to feel more confident about getting around town and what to do.

But it's not all work. In the evening we all get together in a bar or on the Beach at Bondi for our BBQ.  Update on how you are doing. We also invite the existing Ozforce clients who have already been working here to come along, meet up with you, have a beer and thus give you a wider support circle during your stay in Australia. This is a great evening to discuss travel ideas, accommodation options and the inside track to living in Australia. First beer is on us! A whole new group of friends!

Friday: Breakfast (included). By now you are happy to get around on your own, although we give you 24/7 backup. Head over to any more interviews which you may have set up with our assistance. We can help you find a job, but it's up to you to secure it and keep it! That's why we feel it is so important that you have gone through our Ozforce preparation program of back-up, training and support as a positive work ethic ensures you get the most out of your time "down-under".

Saturday: Breakfast (included). Start of job or continuation of job searching.

Continuous Support and BBQ / Bar Evenings:

The Ozforce packages offers your emergency back up 24/7 while you are working in Sydney. Plus, you will be invited back to our regular Ozforce evenings. A great way to meet new arrivals, catch up with old friends and plan any on going travel around Australia or New Zealand.

Our Jobs:

We have an extensive employer’s database offering jobs which typically range from office jobs to vineyards, chic cafes to prestigious restaurants, all of which offer great pay and a great time, there’s plenty to choose from! Once you have decided the type of work that interests you, we'll assist you for your first two weeks on the program in finding a placement/job and thereafter be available to contact 24/7 if you need our assistance.
